Don’t be Fooled by Imitators!

Security Sealcoating…

Sealcoating Imitators…

1.  …uses a 3000 psi power washer to clean your driveway/lot of all dirt and debris.  This cleans out the pores of the asphalt that ensures adherence of the sealcoat product and allows the product to seep deeper providing you with a thicker coat.

1.  …use a garden hose or blower to try to clean your asphalt which is inadequate.  (Sealcoat could possibly peel up due to heavily soiled areas that were not properly cleaned.)

2.  …edges the grass along your driveway or lot for a cleaner appearance.

2.  …don’t bother.  (Can be very labor intensive if done manually.)

3.  …uses hot-pour, commercial grade Crafco rubber crackseal to seal cracks and garage-to-driveway gap protecting the foundation of your driveway and home from water erosion.

3.  …use cold-pour crackseal which is brittle and rigid so it doesn’t expand with the cracks in your driveway.  Or they use none at all.  (Hot-pour is not available in stores.)

4.  …uses high quality, commercial-grade detergents and poly-seal primer to ensure sealcoat adhesion to heavily oiled spots.

4.  …don’t bother.  (These products are not available in stores.)

5.  …uses Armour Seal, a commercial grade sealcoat product, the highest quality sealcoat available.  Never chips or peels and lasts up to 5 years.  It leaves a very desirable jet-black finish that looks better than brand new asphalt.

5.  …use a low quality sealcoat product or worse, store bought sealcoat/resurfacer product.  This will chip and peel and need to be redone year after year.  Also leaves a dull and caked-on finish.

6. …always applies two coats, which is recommended by ALL manufactures for longer life and durability.

6.  …lay down only one coat for an easier job for them, but costs you in the long run.

7.  …offers a two-year warranty on your sealcoat job.

7.  …do not offer any warranty.

8.  …uses top-of-the-line equipment for a speedy, clean and professional job.  Squeegees and spraying are used for a smooth appealing finish.  Our in-tank agitator constantly mixes product for sealcoat consistency.

8.  …uses buckets which is time-consuming and messy.  They don’t have a sealcoat mixer for proper sealcoat consistency.  Brooms or rollers are used to spread sealcoat leaving a scratchy finish.

9.  …has years of experience in performing high-quality commercial and residential sealcoat work in Alaska.
